The Central Florida Sports Commission and Seminole County will host the 2012 Goldstar Elite College Showcase at Seminole County Softball Complex from July 6-8.

“We are delighted to welcome the Elite College Showcase and its talented athletes to Central Florida” said Brent Nelson, interim president of the Central Florida Sports Commission. “We look forward to working with Seminole County to ensure the success of this prestigious event in our community.”

26 teams will compete in separate 14U, 16U, and 18U brackets. The event will feature some of Florida’s best talent, as over 20 college coaches from around the country are expected to attend. Besides top level athletes and coaches, the event will attract families and spectators, bringing valuable revenue to the hotels, restaurants, and attractions of Seminole county.
