After more than fifteen years of providing speech and language therapy services to patients of all ages, Dr. Colleen Gordon launched a private practice focusing on school-aged children. Gordon Speech–Language Services in Longwood is a new option that provides children pre-K through grade 5 with comprehensive assessment and intervention services in speech, language and literacy.

Gordon recognizes the strong correlation between language ability and early reading and reading comprehension. “Language functioning” influences a child’s ability to read, write, spell, and have positive interactions with their peers. Gordon believes early intervention is a vital component of school success.

Gordon Speech–Language Services works with children ages 3 to 12. Services range from diagnosis and speech correction to comprehensive evaluations and intervention for language delays and disorders. Gordon also provides research-based instruction for students who are struggling with reading.

Her practice uses an innovative yet clinically proven approach to learning, giving children the opportunity to develop the skills they need to be successful in all areas of their lives.
