We’re looking for the most community-minded businesses in Seminole County.
Our newest contest is a chance for your business to win an ad in the next issue of Seminole magazine and on SeminoleMagazine.com. If your business has a direct
positive impact on the community, we want to hear from you. Winners will be chosen by online voters.
Last issue we ran the “Community Blogger” contest to find our seven bloggers. And now we’re running a new contest to find local businesses that operate withthe community in mind. Simply stated, we’re inviting business owners or managersto tell us what their business is doing to build or support the community, and why it’s a priority.
Business owners who do things that benefit the community are often humble—they do what they do just to help the community. And that’s what we want to reward. So o build community spirit, we’re involving the community in the process by means of online voting. Our goal is to raise awareness about what local businesses are doing, in order to recognize their efforts and inspire others to follow suit.
Our readers will vote online for the businesses that enter. The business that receives the most votes will win a half-page horizontal ad in the Winter/Holiday issue, which comes out in November. The second highest vote-getter will win a quarter-page ad. The two winners will also win a customized Web package on SeminoleMagazine.com.*
